No coding required. This model is a purely mechanical construction, ideal for introducing engineering concepts without the need for programming or electronic components.

What's in the Box

The kit includes a pre-cut wooden or plastic cable car chassis pieces, pulleys, axles, string or wire, a hand crank or motorised unit (where applicable), assembly instructions, and a teacher guide with discussion prompts and extension activities. All materials are reusable and designed for classroom durability.

Classroom Setup & Requirements

Each model requires a clear workspace of approximately 50 cm x 30 cm. The activity can be completed in a single 60-minute session, or extended over two lessons for deeper investigation. Basic tools such as scissors and a ruler may be required. No specialist equipment is needed. The model is best used in small groups of 2–4 students to encourage collaboration and peer learning.
